Creating a Coaching Career

A Two Day Training by Richard Bolstad

Prerequisite: Open entry but recommended at least 2 days of NLP/Coaching Training. This course is not currently scheduled.

You know you could spend a lot of money on learning marketing skills that really don’t align with what you do as a coach, and so you want things that have been tested: that really work. This is a training that will really put your coaching business into hyperdrive. We’ve tested it with people just like you, but don’t take our word for it. Test it yourself. You will learn how to:

  • Clarify what success would mean in your coaching business
  • Identify what types of clients and what issues you have the most success with and attract those
  • Understand the core ethical issues in working professionally as a coach
  • Make sound business decisions even in a challenging economic climate
  • Write advertisements that attract attention
  • Go beyond elevator “speeches” to successful elevator conversations
  • Create Introductory talks to draw clients
  • Identify your natural “specializations” and connect with people who are searching for you specifically
  • Make it easy for clients to book sessions
  • Build backup resources like handouts and guided NLP visualizations for clients
  • Create free sample experiences that draw clients
  • Set yourself a goal and work systematically on creating connections
  • Create unique experiences that access “Blue Ocean” beyond competition
  • Involve your clients in helping others get the benefits they enjoyed
  • Create backup support systems that enable you to keep learning from your coaching experience

“Thank you for the amazing NLP and Marketing workshop. This week I sent out my newsletter to test the waters for the Blue Ocean idea we had. Then I also received from my virtual assistant a proof of one of my workbooks for CreateSpace and printing for a workshop. When the second workbook is ready, I am going to open an on-line shop! I can’t thank you and Julia enough – I feel like I am riding a comet!” – Brenda Ratcliff, Wellington
