NLP Hypnosis
An Advanced Weekend by Richard Bolstad
Prerequisite: at least 2 days of NLP Training. This course is not currently scheduled.
This training can only be done effectively in the room (some processes cannot be demonstrated well online).
Much of NLP was modelled from the work of Hypnotist Milton Erickson, but many NLP Practitioners feel less than fully confident about their skills as a hypnotist. On this training we focus in on the core hypnotherapeutic techniques that we previously taught on NLP Practitioner, Master Practitioner and Trainer Trainings. Whether you trained with us, or in some other school of NLP, you will benefit from reviewing your skill with hypnotic languaging, metaphor, and advanced techniques such as pain reduction, arm catalepsy, hypnotic ideomotor signalling (creating non-verbal communication with the client’s unconscious mind), double induction (two hypnotherapists working at once or using a recording of one voice while talking over it, to flood the conscious mind and allow unconscious response), utilization of client behaviours and environmental “distractions”, and hypnotic amnesia. These skills enable you to integrate Milton Erickson’s naturalistic model of hypnosis into whatever other work you do with clients. In many cases you will be able to help people make significant changes in a single session by accessing their unconscious resources.
