Coaching Questions for Alignment
An open entry training by Richard Bolstad

Prerequisite: Open entry. Not currently scheduled.
Skilful open questions help focus a client’s attention. Research shows that the questions you ask of life give direction and ultimately shape your experience even more than statements and affirmations. On this weekend training you’ll learn how to ask questions in a way that maintains respect and connection with the person, and yet expands their understanding of their situation:
- Questions that create precision goals that get past inertia and motivate action.
- Questions that help clients discover hidden strengths and learn from success they didn’t even notice.
- Questions that unpack unhelpful beliefs and help reconnect with empowering choices in even the most challenging situation.
- Questions that set clients on the path to discover what really inspires them and gives life meaning.
- Questions that enable more effective decisions and clarify what the person truly wants.
You’ll also learn how what you do before and after asking a question is crucial to the person actually engaging with the question. What would you do if you knew how to elegantly ask questions that achieve all this?
