NLP and Radiant Health

Prerequisite: at least 2 days of NLP Training. This course is not currently scheduled.

In two days, learn how to use NLP techniques to support yourself and others in healing both physical and psychological challenges. This is a workshop for those with a solid grounding in NLP, who want to support their clients as they manage and heal from major and minor health challenges. We will overview the latest NLP models for working with health, and use the Traditional Chinese Medical Model as an example of modelling a more ancient system. You will learn

  • Overview protocols for working with people with depression, anxiety, psychosis and personality disorder (as discussed in the book “The Structure of Personality” by Michael Hall, Richard Bolstad and others)
  • An overview protocol and specific techniques for working with people with addiction, based on the Brooklyn program of NLP researcher Dr Rick Gray, and the Motivational Interviewing model.
  • An overview protocol for working with physical health issues.
  • Richard Bolstad’s Personal Strengths model for choosing which NLP processes to use with which clients.
  • Guidelines for working with chronic health conditions
  • The Inner smile guided visualisation
  • The Basics of the Ancient Chinese 5 Elements health model.
  • The NLP Fast Allergy relief process for supporting people with both allergies and auto-immune challenges

Richard Bolstad is a New Zealand Registered Comprehensive Nurse (Psychiatric and General), and has been a trainer of nurses. He has postgraduate specialist training in the community treatment of epidemics. He is a full member of the New Zealand Association of Psychotherapists. He is a certified trainer with two separate schools of Traditional Chinese exercise (Qigong or chi kung), and has numerous trainings in complementary medicine such as a Doctorate in Clinical Hypnotherapy, and training in Medical Herbalism.
